Pinkard Construction Co. Breaks Ground on $7.3 million Harvest Pointe Senior Living Apartments
Loveland, CO - Pinkard Construction Company, with owner Loveland Retirement Housing Foundation and Abo Group Architects has broken ground on Harvest Pointe Senior Living Apartments. The $7.3 million, ground-up Harvest Pointe will have 80 apartments, each with a master suite, living area and full kitchen. Resident amenities will include a library, community room, craft center and a private gardening area.
The 3-story, wood framed structure is on concrete shallow foundation with spread footings and stem walls. The exterior will have asphalt shingles, vinyl windows, wood siding and faux stone in a craftsman style. Heating and cooling is provided for common areas by central HVAC, with individual, gas-fired, through-wall heat and air conditioning at each apartment.
During preconstruction, Pinkard identified over $500,000 in value engineering savings for the client.
