Lakewood, CO - Pinkard Construction Company’s Jim Adams, Senior Project Manager, and Troy Bohlender, Senior Project Superintendent, have passed the International Code Council’s (ICC) National Standard General Building Contractor (A) exam. The ICC exam verifies an individual’s competence and understanding of building codes and allows the individual to test and apply for local contractor licenses.

Adams, a LEED® Accredited Professional, and Bohlender are currently constructing the Academic Instruction Building, a new $31.1 million education and office facility at Colorado State University. The 4-story 92,912 sf structure will have classrooms, office, lecture halls, group study spaces, a large wi-fi study lounge, and partial basement. Upon completion, the Academic Instruction Building will apply for LEED Gold certification.
