Pinkard Construction Adds New Business Development Professional

Lakewood, Colorado - Pinkard Construction Company, celebrating 47 years of quality preconstruction and construction services across the Front Range, is pleased to announce the addition of Tom Pirog to Pinkard’s Business Development team.

In his business development role at Pinkard, Tom will work with Vice President Jim Mellor to build new and repeat business opportunities, assist in formulating business development strategies, and maintain and grow Pinkard’s loyal client base.

Tom’s 32 years of experience in Colorado commercial construction include project management, marketing, public relations and business development. Tom’s extensive project management experience covers office, educational, medical, resort, retail and municipal facilities.

As a Leed® Accredited Professional, Tom is Pinkard’s 25th LEED Accredited Professional, joining a green building team that includes the entire preconstruction and estimating department, every project manager, six project engineers, the field operations manager, several field personnel, and the business development team. He has a Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management from CSU.

Pinkard Construction Co. is an employee-owned, full-service CM/GC and design-builder in business in Colorado since 1962. Pinkard’s expertise includes ground-up, renovation/addition and tenant improvement/build-out. With extensive capabilities for self-performance, Pinkard is also active in the hard bid market.

Some of Pinkard’s current projects include the $28 million Central Platte Campus for the City and County of Denver, $31 million Academic Instruction Building for Colorado State University, $12 million Fire Station #10 and Fire Training Facility for West Metro Fire Protection District, and a $15 million skilled nursing facility for Sunny Vista Living Center in Colorado Springs.
