The new two-story, K-8 school will be a state-of-the-art facility with integrated technology support, and space for science, visual arts, performing arts, music, library, athletics and a kitchen. The skeleton will be steel frame with steel joists, composite metal deck and concrete on a concrete foundation with spread footers. Exterior walls are light gauge metal framing and stucco with cast stone elements. The roofing system is standing seam metal and ballasted EPDM. The mechanical system will be rooftop DX cooling with hydronic heating.
