The new two-story, K-8 school is a state-of-the-art facility with integrated technology support, and space for science, visual arts, performing arts, music, library, athletics and a kitchen. The skeleton is steel frame with steel joists, composite metal deck and concrete on a concrete foundation with spread footers. Exterior walls are light gauge metal framing and stucco with cast stone elements. The roofing system is standing seam metal and ballasted EPDM. The mechanical system is a rooftop DX cooling with hydronic heating.
