Pinkard Construction and RNL worked with the City and County of Denver in a design-build relationship to design and construct the Central Platte Campus Corporation Yard at 1271 West Bayaud Avenue. The Central Platte Campus replaced/consolidated several other Public Works administrative and operations functions from existing corporation yard locations.

The 33-acre, multi-building campus includes approximately 102,000 sf of construction: fleet maintenance building; office/warehouse/shops space; fueling station/large truck wash facility; salt dome and magnesium chloride storage area; heated and covered parking. The project has applied to become Gold certified under the U.S. Green Building Council’s Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) program.
