The Brighton Life Long Learning and Resource Center project was the phased interior gut and renovation of the former Platte Valley Medical Center, a 3-story 72,590 sf hospital building. Work included creating classrooms, staff support areas, restroom upgrades, new classroom windows, reconfiguring the HVAC and electrical infrastructure, new DDC controls, and modification of common areas. The redevelopment created a multi-tenant educational and counseling facility with approximately six different subtenant groups, including Community Reach Center, Brighton School District 27J, Adams County Head-Start, Colorado Department of Labor, CSU and Lead the Way.
