Lakewood, Colorado — Construction Manager/General Contractor Pinkard Construction Company with Venture Architecture and Dunakilly Management Group, has completed Colorado Adventure Point at the Frederic C. Hamilton Scout Headquarters in Lakewood.
The project converted 22,000 sf of unoccupied space into an indoor scouting facility. The new amenities include outdoor adventure zones, indoor climbing & rappelling gym, archery and air rifle range, the Walter F. Imhoff Sustainability Lab, Art & Fabrication Lab, the Glenn R. Jones Cyberdome. Construction also included Mechanical/electrical retrofits include the removal and replacement of electrical equipment and distribution system; and a revised mechanical distribution system to accommodate the new space.
The new space was dedicated on February 24, 2015 and the grand opening will be held April 18, 2015.
