Lakewood, Colorado — Pinkard Construction Co. has promoted four individuals within their organization to new roles.

Jim Pinkard Jr., formerly president, has been named chief executive officer. Pinkard will continue to have a focus on business development, corporate strategy, client relations and employee development.

Mark Olesen, formerly vice president of operations, has been promoted to president and will be in charge of all of Pinkard’s day to day business. Olesen has been with Pinkard Construction since 1979, shortly after graduating from college and has worked in a variety of roles. He was named vice president of operations in 1991.

Jeff Barnes, formerly a construction manager, has been named vice president of operations. Barnes started at Pinkard in 2000 as a project manager and was made construction manager in 2003. Barnes’ career spans over 40 years including many years as a superintendent.

Tony Burke, previously a senior project manager, has been promoted to construction manager. Burke began his career with Pinkard in 1999 as a project engineer shortly after he graduated from college. He was promoted in 2005 to project manager and again in 2009 to senior project manager. Burke has been extensively involved in Pinkard’s senior living and healthcare groups.

These changes come as part of an overall plan to prepare for the future of Pinkard Construction and promote growth for both the company and its personnel.
